  • Harvest leaves in the early morning when essential oils are strongest


Drying method:

  1. Rinse herbs gently and pat dry
  2. Tie small bunches with string and hang upside down in a warm, dark place
  3. OR spread leaves on a paper towel in a warm, dry area
  4. Leave for 1-2 weeks until completely dry and crumbly
  5. Store in airtight glass jars away from direct sunlight
  6. Label with herb name and date

  • Buy fresh ginger root with small "eyes"
  • Plant in well-draining soil with the eye pointing up
