Uncomfortable statistic: those born into poverty rarely become wealthy.
The majority of people in this world are not very intelligent; they have fixed mindsets and values. Anything beyond their understanding is deemed wrong, even if it could change their fate. They are not unhappy with their lives; rather, their unhappiness is their comfort zone. For them, poverty is merely physical pain, far more comfortable than the torment of repeatedly breaking their cognitive habits.
Truly the dividend of the times.
Cleanliness is not an absolute natural state but a "constructed sense of trust" in different cultures.
In this sense, my daily habits become a micro-ritual of cultural self-repair. My simple habits are extremely mundane daily activities, but in a cross-cultural context, they reveal complex layers of meaning. This involves differences in trust systems, the historical nature of bodily experience, mild resistance to mainstream discourse, and the self-affirmation of cultural identity.
Western people have a strong sense of superiority, thinking that their way of life is far ahead. Little do they realize that they living are within one standard deviation of barbarianism. Civilization is indeed only three meals deep.
They cannot stand any foreign habits, or any other foreign aspect.
Little do they realize that they are just Neanderthals living off the advantages of being the first movers, already possessing wealth and technology but not the modern mind.
Its easy to train a brain but hard to cultivate a heart.
Contentment brings happiness; those who are content are joyful, while those who aren't never find joy.
One day, when you realize that everything you do seems wrong, it's not that you are mistaken, but rather that a relationship has come to an end. The greatest regret is that only you are left to feel it.

Short story:
A while back a friend visited San Francisco and saw a couple with headphones on actively talking to each other; then as they came up to someone "needing help" they stopped talking and pretended to listen to their music, then went back to talking.
He came home convinced people were wearing headphones constantly in public spaces so they can pretend to (or legitimately) not hear strangers asking them for their attention.
Meanwhile, tourists like him were constantly stopping to be polite and in the end feeling like suckers for having tried to be helpful.
He vowed to bring headphones with him on every metropolitan vacation afterwards.
When you feel the breeze, you realize you've created something meaningful today.
If there is no habitual thought, what is learned in a moment will not enter the heart; therefore, learning without thinking leads to confusion, and thinking without learning leads to peril.
To be sociable, is to seek profit. When someone says that you are not sociable, it’s because they haven’t benefited from you, and you choose not to be sociable with them because doing so doesn’t bring you any profit. 🤝

As I’m getting older, I realize that I haven’t achieved anything significant. I feel like I might be just useless. I’ve had all sorts of jobs and encountered many people, but did not find any of them outstanding. When I see others, they either have successful carers or are willing to endure hardships and take any job.
